Privacy policy

1. Overview

This privacy policy explains which personal data is processed when you visit this website and when you send an enquiry through its forms. The controller is the person named above (see also the imprint).

This website uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools.

2. Hosting and server log files

The website and its database run on a server provided by [hosting provider and address – please add]. When pages are requested, the server processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, requested page and browser identifier. This keeps the website secure and protects it against abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted after [period – please define]. To prevent spam, the IP address is briefly counted in memory when a form is sent (at most a few enquiries per 15 minutes). It is not stored in the database.

3. Enquiries through the forms

When you send a booking, collaboration or contact enquiry, we store:

• ✦name and e-mail address
• ✦phone number and organisation, if given
• ✦your message and, depending on the form, subject, requested date, city, venue, type of event, length, budget range and the requested service, performance or DJ
• ✦the website language you used
• ✦date and time of the enquiry and of your consent

The purpose is to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare a booking. Legal bases: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to a contract), for general enquiries Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in replying), and your consent given with the checkbox in the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time by e-mail.

Enquiries are only visible in the password-protected admin area. Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted after [period, e.g. 12 months – please define]. If a booking follows, statutory retention periods apply (e.g. § 147 AO, § 257 HGB).

4. E-mail notification (Resend)

New enquiries are announced by e-mail, and you receive a short confirmation at your e-mail address. The e-mail service Resend (Resend, Inc., USA) is planned for sending; the content of the enquiry and your e-mail address are then transferred to Resend. Any transfer to the USA is based on [the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU standard contractual clauses – please check]. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (reliable delivery of enquiries).

5. Cookies

This website sets only one cookie: "icd_lang". It stores the language you chose for one year, so the site opens in your language next time. It is technically necessary (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG) and contains no personal data, which is why there is no cookie banner.

6. Fonts, videos and maps

Fonts are served from this server; there is no connection to Google Fonts.

In the gallery, preview images of YouTube videos are loaded from YouTube's servers (Google Ireland Ltd.), which passes your IP address to Google. A video only starts after you click it, through youtube-nocookie.com or Vimeo (with "Do Not Track"). The privacy policies of Google or Vimeo then apply. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The "Directions" buttons open Google Maps or Apple Maps only after a click.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object (Art. 21). Just send an e-mail to the address above.

You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, e.g. the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

8. Changes

We update this policy when the website or the law changes. The version published here applies.
